Kurtas can rightfully be categorized as south Asia’s most adored ensemble for both men and women during the 1940’s and now in 2013 the love has outgrown into a gargantuan. No matter how hard Asians try to pull away from the luxe of the ensemble, its comfortability has pierced right through and made a special place in our heart.
Kurtas does not just hold a special place in our heart but they have eastern traditional values attached with them. Our elders emphasize on wearing them with our traditional pajamas in place of a top or a jeans. Our society emphasizes on promoting our own cultures and traditions instead of promoting the cultures of the west. However they do not know that without the need of all of this emphasis being laid on wearing our eastern traditional wear, we already prefer to wear it over anything else.
These traditional kameez are not just very dear to our forefathers but also to us. For a number of self-centered reasons mentioned below;
1. I do not really know how it was back in the 40’s but now when we happen to be a part of 2013; our traditional wear has been revamped with the addition of designer cuts to it.
2. As for woman; 20th century has, or more precisely, the designers have modified their attire with the increment of motifs, laces, ribbons and lush velvet, pure silk, pure chiffon add-ups and put a touch of extravagance in them.
3. Their threads are amalgamated in such a way to leave molecular spaces that allow air molecules to seep through the fabric and keep the space between the kameez (traditional word for shirts) and you, airy.
4. They are made to be light-textured, so light that they don’t even feel on your body.
5. When you wear them, your elders love you more. Besides they add a traditional touch to your personality.
6. They are good to be worn at office or even at a casual event like going to meet a friend.
For people who never have, experience the feel of wearing the comfiest of comfy shalwar kurta.

If you remember couple of week back I shared a guest post of daraz.pk and recently ordered OPI nail polish. I would start from the store introduction. Daraz.pk is a leading Pakistani online store that deal in branded fashion products. I am glad and highly impressed with the customer service ever. I got a phone call from daraz.pk right after 15 mints of order to confirm that's really impressive.
Well I was excited but confuse to chose anything from store because everthing on the site was out of the budget than later i found an OPI nail polish in beauty section. I decided to order this one because I never tried OPI before my sister in law own many OPI's . I become a fan and wanted to have atleast one to tryout.
They confirmed that i would receive package into around 5/6 working days but i received it earlier though. I just order one nail polish that came in a very big box. I ordered OPI strawberry margarita which is no doubt a very sweet name but a very pretty sexy pink colour, a truly feminine colour. It's a very bright and hot pink, my all time favourite colour look very sexy on my skin tone. I'm very happy with the colour a totally classy colour that are beautiful, yet sassy. I v tried many brands before and after trying all sorts of brands, I've concluded that OPI is the best. It's very rich in colour only coated twice and it was done. It only needed a one coat for the colour to show up. Checkout the whole range of opi at daraz.pk

Runway fashion is different in comparison with retail fashion. However, successful were a handful of Pakistani designers that received surplus attention that tempted them into inaugurating their very own flagship stores across the country. On a wide scale, the recent showcase in PFDC this year exhibited some of the most gorgeous Pakistani designer dresses shimmering under the spotlights, posed by exotic models flaunting on the runway.
More often we see the emphasis on bridal dresses, haute couture, or pret a porter ensemble, despite high demand of such clothing. Accordingly, retailing for such apparel remained high almost throughout the year 2012, another reason for the debut of designers’ outlets popping up like the recent opening of Sania Mastakiya’s brand new store on MM Alam Road. Her introductory Sapphire lawn collection is among the most celebrated lawns this season. More assortments are yet to be discovered following the upcoming Eid season. Deepak Perwani on the other hand certifies for being a creative artist famous for his angle on fusing two different or multiple cultural traits in his clothing. The clash settles perfectly as seen at FPW 5 (day 2) where Deepak’s crisp assortment emanated Mexican fashion mixed with Kharadar street life prints; along with ‘Naqsh’ by Sania M that constituted chic apparel. His entire collection was a tribute to Frieda Kahlo, a Mexican revolutionist famed for self-portrait paintings. This year Perwani was busy in his launch of new lawn collection for Orient Textiles which was a bit of a challenge, in his opinion. He was quoted saying: ‘’the new generational modus operandi is all online, and this is the future’’ when being asked for his opinion regarding online shopping.
Other emerging brands included the well famed, ill-fated Arsalan & Yahseer showcasing some impeccable menswear with impressive tailoring. The duo parted ways this year while shifting all the operations under Arsalan, reinventing the brand name as Arsalan Iqbal.
It is more convenient for the masses these days to acquire Pakistani designer dresses as more entrepreneurs and private brands emerge becoming part of online retailing. Value added services provided by shopping websites create significant difference, offering services like domestic & international shipping across Pakistan and overseas. Find out some of the bestselling designer ensembles obtainable through discount vouchers and Gift Cards. Choose relentlessly for shopping from Pakistan from over 8000+ products & 300+ brands at www.daraz.pk. Look out for new designer arrivals at this leading women’s clothing store. Shop now at
