How to protect skin from the sun
How to protect skin from the sun
Protecting the skin from sun burn is extremely important because skin damage builds over time results in wrinkles and sun tanning along with a greater likelihood for developing skin cancers, such as melanoma. This is the reason that sun cream should be used daily, for body and face protection. A homemade recipe for preparing a natural sunscreen using green tea is as follows, you will need one cup of green tea leaves and 2½ cups of water. Boil the green tea leaves in boiling pot or pan after much boiling drain out the water. Store the leftover in a bottle. You can either wash your face with it or apply it before venturing out in the sun. If you already have a sun tanning problem, grind a cucumber or potato in the food processor and apply the paste to reddened skin. Mix together 5 tablespoons of rosewater and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to the affected area before you go to bed. Wash it off the next morning. This helps to get rid of the suntan.
